Crowchild Skating Club (“CSC”) hopes this update finds you and your loved ones well.
Some of our CSC member families have CanSkaters on the ice already, participating in our summer programs. Welcome back! We look forward to seeing the rest of you on the ice as our programs evolve. We anticipate our fall registration to open August 1st, so keep an eye on our website for updates.
Skaters’ safety is our highest priority during these challenging times and we appreciate your trust. Should you have additional questions after attending the online Parent Information Sessions, reviewing the CanSkate Parent Information Letter and the information on our website, feel free to contact us with your questions at email@example.com.
CSC is focused on providing opportunities for our member families and skaters to enjoy the sport of skating in a fun, safe environment. We will provide an atmosphere where learning and expanding skills will parallel with supportive, respectful coaching aligned with Skate Canada standards.
Those who attended our virtual AGM in June heard about our volunteer Board’s commitment to work on a number of initiatives, thus providing clarity and value to our member families. Our undertaking includes Club financials, program development, coaching standards and alignment with the Skate Canada curricula. The Board is greatly assisted on technical matters by Katina Walton, our Director of Skating, who in turn has the Board’s respect and full support. We thank you for your patience and look forward to sharing our work with you in the near future.
There is always need for volunteers to assist our Board. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are willing to pitch in. Your involvement will be greatly appreciated and structured around your area of expertise and availability.
We welcome your ideas and feedback.
